It's no secret that most college students don't give themselves enough time in the morning to make and eat breakfast. However, if their schedule is anything like mine, I eat breakfast at around 9 am and most likely won't eat lunch until around 2 p.m. I will post more gluten free breakfast ideas as they come along, but if you're interested in seeing what I am currently eating for breakfast as a college celiac then keep on reading!
First what I do is toast my bread (don't forget your toaster bag!) Note: store your toaster bags somewhere where they won't be touching things you don't want contaminated (I put it back in the package it came in) if there is gluten bread in the toaster to avoid cross contamination!
While that is in the toaster, I take out my yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and cuties from the fridge.
When the toast is done I spread some concord grape spread on them and that's all!
You could honestly make this in the amount of time it takes to read it.
P.S. This post gave me the idea of a post about tips for living with non-gluten free roommates so stay tuned for that in the future!
